I won't get into details of any kind as to not disclose information. This is just a quick personal re-cap.
I pre-fished the weekend before since there was a week off-limits period.
Covered a lot of water pre-fishing without a whiff. I think this is mostly due to not fully knowing the lake and it seems that those that do well here have spots and run those spots until they get bit.
I did have an area that I believed had a winning bag. The sun wasn't up high and I wanted to wait for the sun to hit the bank of the area and heated up the water a bit so we started further down the bank and by the time we got back to my area there was another boat on my juice and I was lucky enough to watch them pick off fish from my good stuff. This triggered the run and gun covering water trying to put something together. I found one fish all day, a decent 4.6lb. largie. Enough to take 23rd place and get a few points for the season. The next Lake Washington tournament is on April 13th. We will see how that goes.
